The job you lost last nightwas already on your site.
A homeowner found you at 10pm, had one question, and got silence. Build a chatbot that answers for you — on a roof, asleep, at dinner. Takes about two minutes and it is free forever.
This is a gift. That is the whole business model.
There is no trial, no free tier that expires, and no upgrade screen waiting three months from now. The code runs inside your own page, in your visitor's browser, so there is nothing for us to meter and nothing for us to bill. We give it away because contractors who eventually hire us almost always start by trusting something we handed them first. If you never call us, it still works. No obligation — not even a link back, and not even a thank you.
What would answering every visitor be worth?
Before you build anything, find out whether it matters. Most contractor websites convert somewhere between 2 and 6 percent of visitors into an inquiry. Chat changes that because a conversation asks for one thing at a time instead of eleven. Put your real numbers in and see the arithmetic — then decide whether two minutes is worth it.
Chatbot Revenue Worksheet
AFC · No. 002At these numbers a chatbot that captures even a few of the visitors who currently leave without saying anything is worth real money.
This is arithmetic, not a promise. It multiplies your own numbers by a lift you chose. Real results depend on your traffic quality, how fast you answer, and whether your answers are any good. Benchmarks referenced: static forms convert roughly 2 to 6 percent, chat conversations convert to a lead nearer 15 percent, and businesses running chat report roughly 20 to 35 percent more captured leads. Nothing you type here leaves your browser.
Build your chatbot
Start with your trade. Every preset is loaded with the questions homeowners actually ask that trade — change any of them, add your own, and watch the preview on the right update as you type. Nothing is saved anywhere and nothing is sent to us.
Copy the block above. That is the entire chatbot — nothing else to download, install or sign up for.
Paste it into your site right before the closing
</body> tag. WordPress: the footer. Shopify: theme.liquid. Squarespace: code
injection.
Save and reload. The bubble appears in the corner. Come back and rebuild any time you want to change an answer.
Where the code goes on your platform
One block, pasted once, right before the closing body tag. Here is exactly where that lives on whatever you are already using. If you cannot find it, call us and we will walk you through it on the phone for nothing.
WordPress
Appearance, then Theme File Editor, then footer.php, just above </body>.
Safer option: install a snippet plugin like WPCode and paste it into a footer snippet, so a theme
update cannot wipe it out.
Shopify
Online Store, Themes, Edit code, then layout/theme.liquid. Scroll to the bottom and paste above
</body>. Works on every theme.
Squarespace
Settings, Advanced, Code Injection, Footer. Paste and save. Nothing else to touch.
Wix
Settings, Custom Code, Add Custom Code. Set it to load on all pages and place it at "Body — end".
Webflow, Duda, GoDaddy
All three have a footer or custom code box in site settings. Paste it there, then publish — on Webflow especially, it will not appear on the live site until you hit publish.
Plain HTML
Open the file, paste near the bottom before </body>, upload. Several pages?
Paste it on each, or drop it in a shared footer include.
This one cannot make things up. On purpose.
Your chatbot is rule-based. It answers the questions you wrote answers for and nothing else. That is not a limitation we are apologizing for — for a contractor it is the entire point. A homeowner cannot screenshot a price your chatbot invented and hold you to it at the kitchen table.
| Rule-based what this builder makes, free | AI-powered what we build custom | |
|---|---|---|
| Can it invent a price? | Never. It only says what you typed. | It can, unless someone puts real guardrails on it. |
| Questions you did not script | Hands them off to a phone number or a form. | Handles things nobody thought to write down. |
| Monthly cost | Zero. No server, no API call, no meter. | There is a real per-conversation cost. |
| Setup | About two minutes. | Days, because it has to be trained on your business. |
| A traffic spike | Costs nothing. It runs in the browser. | Costs more with every conversation. |
| Who it suits | Most contractors: hours, service area, pricing ranges, estimates, booking. | High volume operations, complex pricing, or deep service documentation. |
We build both, and we will tell you which one you need — including when the honest answer is the free one you just built. If you want to see what the paid version looks like in the wild, Tex is sitting in the corner of this page. Ask him what a lead should cost you.

How does the chatbot get leads to me?
Does the chatbot slow my website down?
What if I want you to install it for me?
Take it. It is yours.
Build it, paste it, and let it answer the next homeowner who lands on your site at eleven at night. If it turns into work, we would love to hear about it. That is the only thanks we are after.
