Call and a person answers.

No phone tree, no ticket number, no form that disappears into a queue. There is a chatbot on this site and it will happily give you real lead-cost numbers at eleven at night — but it never stands between you and a human. Tell us what's going on with your business and we'll tell you straight whether we can help, including when the answer is no.

Get in touch

What's the fastest way to reach AFC?

The phone. Call 1-800-481-8638 and you'll get a person during business hours, Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm Mountain Time. Email and the form below both reach the same inbox and we answer within one business day, usually the same day.

No surprises

What actually happens when you get in touch?

A conversation about your business, not a pitch about ours. We ask what an average job invoices at, what you close, where you work and what your slow season looks like. Without those we can't tell you anything useful, and with them we usually can inside twenty minutes.

You won't get a sequence. No automated emails, no "just checking in" every Tuesday, no calendar link that leads to a sales rep reading a script. One conversation with someone who does this work.

You'll get a real number. Not a range designed to get a second meeting. If your market needs $4,000 a month to win, we say $4,000. If $300 would do it, we say that too and we quote accordingly.

You might get told no. If your break-even cost per lead is too low for paid channels to clear, or your service area is already locked up by a client of ours, or the honest answer is to spend the money on a second truck — we'll say so. Losing that sale costs us less than a bad six months costs both of us.

Want to arrive with your numbers already worked out? The plan builder takes about four minutes and it's free.

Before you call

What four numbers should you have ready?

Average job value, gross margin, close rate and service area. Those four decide your break-even cost per lead, and your break-even decides which channels can work in your market at all. Bring them and the first call is genuinely useful. Don't have them and the call becomes us helping you find them, which is also fine.

Pre-call checklist

AFC · No. 002
  • Average job value

What a typical completed job invoices at. Not your biggest ever and not your smallest — the middle of the range you actually run. A rough figure is fine.

  • Gross profit margin

What's left after materials and labour, before overhead. Most trades sit somewhere between 20% and 45%. If you've never worked it out, say so — it's more common than you'd think.

  • Lead-to-job close rate

Out of ten real leads, how many become jobs? This one matters more than any other number and it's the one most contractors guess at. Even a rough count from last month helps.

  • Service area

The cities and towns you'll actually drive to. Competitive density varies enormously between a single town and a three-county radius, and it changes the budget more than anything else.

Multiply the first two and you have profit per job. Multiply that by your close rate and you have your break-even cost per lead — the most you can pay for a lead before you lose money on the first job. The break-even worksheet runs it live against real 2026 lead costs, or the plan builder turns it into a twelve-month plan. Both are free and neither asks for your email.

Practise what we sell

We answer the phone. So should you.

The most common reason contractor marketing "doesn't work" isn't the marketing — it's a lead that sat until tomorrow. With Google's agentic booking rolling out through 2026, in some categories the assistant now phones the business on the customer's behalf and moves to the next provider if nobody picks up. No ranking survives an unanswered phone. It would be strange for us to say that and then hide behind a form.

Tell us what's going on

The more you tell us about your numbers and your market, the more useful the first reply will be. If you'd rather keep it short, that's fine too — name, phone and what you're stuck on is enough to start.

Everything here goes to a real inbox that a person checks. We don't sell data, we don't add you to a mailing list, and there's no automated sequence behind this form.

Questions

Before you call

How quickly will someone get back to me?
Within one business day for email and form messages, and usually the same day. If you call during business hours, Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm Mountain Time, a person answers directly. Outside those hours leave a message and we call back first thing. Free audits are typically turned around in about one business day.
Will I get put into an email sequence?
No. There is no automated follow-up behind this form, no drip campaign and no mailing list. A person reads what you send and replies. If you do not want to go further, saying so once is enough and you will not hear from us again.
What should I have ready before I call?
Four things make the first conversation far more useful: what an average job invoices at, roughly what your gross margin is, what percentage of leads you close, and the cities you cover. Those four numbers let us work out your break-even cost per lead, which determines what can realistically work in your market. If you do not know them, the free plan builder on this site will walk you through it in about four minutes.
Is the first conversation free, or do you charge for a consultation?
Free, and there is no card, contract or obligation attached to it. That covers the conversation itself and the audit that usually follows. We charge when work starts, not before. If a first call turns into us telling you to spend the money on a second truck instead of on marketing, that call still cost you nothing.
There is a chatbot on this site. Do I have to use it?
No, and it will never stand between you and a person. Rivet is there because plenty of contractors want a number at eleven at night without waiting for business hours, and it can answer questions about lead costs, pricing and timelines using published 2026 benchmark data. It is clearly labelled as automated, it points you at the phone whenever a human would be better, and every page still shows the number at the top.
Do you work with contractors outside Colorado?
Yes. We are based in Denver but we work with contracting companies across the United States, Canada and internationally. What matters is whether we can realistically win in your market and whether the economics work for your business, not where you are located.
Is the free audit really free, and is there a catch?
It is genuinely free and there is no catch. We look at your website, your Google Business Profile, your reviews and the competitors currently outranking you, and you keep the findings whether you hire us or not. Plenty of contractors run the audit, act on it themselves and never become clients. That is a fine outcome.
What if I am not a contractor?
Our parent company, Eye To Ad Media, works across most other industries including dental, legal, med spa, real estate, restaurants and home services outside the trades. Get in touch here and we will route you, or look at the industries beyond contracting page for the relevant specialist pages.

Let's get the phone ringing.

One call. We'll look at your market, tell you what it takes to win it, and give you a real number. If it isn't worth it, we'll say so.
